When kept in wet pasture environments or subjected to prolonged neglect, their hooves continue to grow unchecked, creating drastically elongated, curved, and slipper-like deformities. Rehabilitating an elongated donkey hoof requires specialized understanding, immense patience, and balanced biomechanical trimming.

Unique Characteristics of Donkey Hooves
